Motel 6 Lumberton, NC

Motel 6 staff is great! Friendly, professional and helpful. However the doors have huge gaps, the toilet ran incessantly and the heater/ac unit did also! You set it for 70 degrees and it will continue running till turned off. Even had to turn on the AC but it never got cooler than 72 degrees after the heater had gotten the room waaaay too hot! Noise levels were great after ten or ten thirty. No issues with loud music, tv or other visitors. No problematic neighbors and from what I saw, that type behavior is stopped immediately and people are told to leave. Honestly, in my two weeks there, I found it quite a good bargain despite the issues.

Only giving 1 star because there is not an option for a 0. I went for a quick night with my spouse and toddler. Quick check in. When I went to the room, the door didn't open. I went back down and the employee gave me a room in front of the pool area. I went in and began searching for bedbugs because thats what you should do. Instead of bedbugs, I found burned cigarette bed sheets with hair all over the bed. Dirty pillows. I still continued looking for bedbugs because my anxiety was high, I found about 10 roaches on the wood of the bed rest. I told my spouse, let's go I don't feel comfortable. Went to the front desk and asked for a refund due to the roaches. There was no questions asked. Went 5 minutes away to a holiday Inn. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... I couldn't have my baby in an environment like this.

This hotel is like 50/50 they have good rooms & terrible rooms so depending on which you get it can be a ok stay or a bad one. I prefer the second room there was absolutely no bugs unlike the first time we stayed it was soooon bad. Guess they cleaning the place up. Prices are ok to.

Went there for a stop for the night only to realize there were bed bugs and roaches under the sheets... the whole place smells like cigarette smoke and there are cigarette holes in the sheets. The roaches are 100% unacceptable. It shows how they do not care about keeping the place sanitary. Absolutely disgusting and should be shut down, Absolutely DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE!!

For the price I paid for one night, I could of gotten a better room with less bugs, shower door didn't close for some reason. But other than that we had an OK stay.
