The Duck Smith House Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful accomodations and exceptional service! The home is charming and beautifully appointed with oil paintings, fine furnishings, and local pottery. Marcia and her husband went above and beyond to accommodate me and my 16-month old. They are fun to talk with, and my little one always laughed with delight when she saw Marcia! Beautiful green lawn outside and large porch with rockers were a great way to wind down a day of adventure in the community, and the incredible, delicious breakfasts kept us going for those adventures! If you have a little one who can sleep through the night, you will not find a better home-away-from-home. Many great memories here, and I'm sure more to come!

Our BnB hostess highly recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We ordered seafood entrees and sweet potato soup which we enjoyed both their presentation and unique quality of each dish. Staff was very attentive and provided professional service. With reservations we were immediately seated inside although outdoor seating was available. Decor was simple allowing us a good view of its kitchen. Kudos to chef and staff. We will be back!

Loved this place, would def recommend it. It was comfortable and the room was nice and big. The owners are super nice and the breakfast was delicious.

My daughter and I planned a “COVID19” get away for this past weekend. During my search for B&Bs in Seagrove, I happened upon The Duck Smith House and was immediately drawn to it due to the allure of the location, the beauty of the inn, and pictures of the rooms. The inn truly lived up to my expectations and more. Rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. The moment we walked in, I had the sense of calmness and relaxation. Marcia was cooking mushrooms with wine and garlic when we arrived! I was salivating as we went upstairs to see our rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot say enough positive things about it. I plan to take my husband to visit after things with COVID19 have calmed down.
