Barking Fox Farm and Guesthouse

If you are looking for true R&R&R, rest, relaxation and refreshment getaway, then the Barking Fox Farm in Landrum, SC needs to be your next destination. The views from the covered porch and wildlife, including turkey and deer, are second to none. The wildlife is in the same pastures as the horses on the farm. The horses are no farther away than 15' from the porch! I do suggest you drag yourself away though, and check out Landrum, a sleepy little town, with quaint shops and great restaurants. Travel a little farther north and check out Hendersonville and Asheville, you won't be sorry, and I bet you might even think about moving to this area. Thank you Barbara for make our Anniversary celebration most memorable. This was a our second time at the Barking Fox Farm, and I know we'll be back again!!

Barking Box Farm is an amazing get away place. My daughter and I stayed and she absolutely loved playing with the horses and chickens. It is a family centered place. The amenities truly felt like our little home away from home. I would also definitely recommended eating at the Hare and Hound in Landrum.

Such a wonderful spot. Beautiful setting. Bill and Barbara are so welcoming. We will definitely be coming back!

My family and I had to travel to Tyron NC for a horse show. We got very lucky when we found this farm and guest houses. Barbara and her husband that own this farm made us feel like family. We traveled with a large dog, Barbara made sure we had bowls and a bed for him. Our daughter loves horses and they let her help with them. The cottage looks brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed. We ate most of our meals sitting on the porch watching the deer and the horses in the fields.

Beautiful and relaxing place. My daughter and I had a great time.
