Deluxe Inn Rocky Mount Battleboro

Room was ok not all that but things thats upsetting the lady a front desk. I book online at book.com paid for my room then we get there then she double charges us and lies and say the card had another 50 dollar hold. Whole time she double charged us and lied and said it would be on back on my card now I have to wait up to 10 business day for my money. Word of advice if you know you paid online don't give her your card she doesn't care she just wants more money!

Never again!!! Roaches, bed bug, etc... I ask for my money back and she refused. I Do not , I repeat I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel/motel whatever you want to call it. Need to be shut down or cleaned.

I need reservations through Priceline it was supposed to be $50 and change when I got there the lady tried to charge me $70. I told her no it was supposed to be a set price then she tried to charge me $60. She finally Said okay just give me 52 as tired as I was because it was late I just gave her the money. I went into the room which was not very desirable to begin with but immediately went to the bathroom and noticed there were roaches. I went to the beds pulled back the sheets one had a cigarette burn in it the other one you could clearly tell someone had slept in and then sheets weren't changed and there was some kind of dead bugs in there. I tried calling down to the front desk repeatedly but no one would answer no one was available. I ended up going to my vehicle and getting my sleeping bag so that I could try to sleep since I was stuck there. There was no room for a TV however there was a battery. When I approached them the next morning I told her I wanted to receive she handed me the receipt for the $50 and change. I told her no you charge me 52 last night I want a receipt I also asked for my money back she attempted to argue until I told her that I was not going to accept her handwriting a two on the receipt I said I wanted it printed did I paid $52 right then and there she decided to go ahead and give me the money back. She said she charged an extra amount for if there was a master damages I told her that's why there was a credit card that would have been on file. I really don't recommend anybody stay at this place. There is no breakfast she said it's because of covid that none of the other hotels are serving breakfast except the econo Lodge because they are a chain.

Online price said $45, they charged my credit card $76, dreary looking room, curtain was half hanging down, toilet paper holder hanging off the wall, and a very long black squiggly hair on the toilet, lock on door was questionable as well, slept on top of everything with my clothes on, did not shower there, even my dog slept near the door as if to say “get me out of here” we got up and left at 630 in the morning with very little sleep.

I stayed here overnight, I was very impressed on the fact that it was a very clean and friendly environment. The staff was super friendly and worked with me as much as they could in the most professional fashion possible. The room was super big and was finished to the complete level. Quality motel. 5/5
