Bend of Ivy Lodge

Bend of Ivy provided an ideal setting for our team to step out of the daily grind and focus on the bigger picture. The setting is fabulous, the rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking implements, the pond & firepit were a nice way to wind down and the hosts are amazing. Will be returning again!

I can't even put into words how special a place Bend of Ivy is. The space is absolutely gorgeous, inside the buildings and on the grounds. Susan and Sonya were wonderful to work with leading up to our retreat, and on the day of Susan gave us a warm welcome. The Lodge had everything we needed to create a great weekend. We loved that the rooms had themes of different regions around the world! The setup of the bedrooms upstairs and downstairs but with a view of the main room below both facilitated a meaningful retreat and felt like we were all in a home together. The beds and chairs were comfortable, and we loved that the dining room is on a screened in porch with a beautiful view. We spent so much time sitting by the pond, we loved exploring the trails (we didn't get to all of them so we really want to come back!), and we had a great time swimming in the river. It was very quiet and just far enough outside of town. Ultimately, Bend of Ivy is a place of peace, and you can feel it.

A beautiful lodge for a calming and peaceful retreat experience. Clean. Comfortable.

Bend of Ivy is a gorgeous event space for weddings. There are so many different areas to have the ceremony and up to 28 - 30 people can stay on site. There was opportunity to relax and have a bonfire with singing the night before the ceremony. Susan & her staff were amazing. They handled every need we had including ones we didn't know we would have. It was a beautiful wedding and very relaxing. I highly recommend Bend of Ivy.
