Charming cabin on Cold Mountain with a waterfall right next to the awesome back porch. Very rustic, but you will feel like you are the only people on the mountain - secluded yet accessible. This is the place to get away from it all and enjoy nature. We went in August and never turned the air conditioner on (there is only one AC in the bedroom, but fans are everywhere). You can hike, fish, bicycle, and drink wine by a waterfall and fire pit on the porch. We loved it!
Secluded Quite Country Setting with a Gentle Running Waterfall and Creek just feet from Wood Deck. Only complaint was the Cabin Doesn't have a full HVAC Cooling System but instead had 1 Small Window AC in the Master Bedroom so I would suggest bringing along a Portable AC for the Second Room and Living Room or Several portable Fans. The cabin is in shade so fans worked alright but for those of us use to a Cool House a Swamp Cooler or Portable AC is recommended. Other than that it really is a Wonderful Cabin with lots of Personality and History. Also there is NO TV, No Cellular Phone Signal, and even though it says there is some internet it's more like a dial up internet from the Caveman Days so download some movies or TV shows to your iPad or Phones to keep the kids entertained at night or bring a TV and DVD Player with a bag full of entertainment. Might suggest some recorded music also.
