Americas Best Value Inn Canton, NC

We got a room with 2 queen beds but wanted a room with king bed. Office changed it with no problem. Staff has been very nice and helpful. I will stay here again. Room was clean. Very easy to get in and out from street without fighting traffic. Restaurants and grocery store are within a couple blocks. Scenic areas are close by.

The building itself is worn. The rooms are truly pitiful; the only good thing was the pillows.nThe male desk clerk put me (a single female) in the room at the very end (102) near the road.nMy room had (3) separate entrances or exits!nA regular door, adjoining room door, and a door at the back of my room!nI blocked the other two doors in the distant, old room with vintage furniture even though I had my own weapon.nThere was a love seat that looked as it came from crackville...the side of the loveseat was completely ripped out. God only knows what was inside the ragged loveseat; I didn't dare look to see.nI would have left there if I had been so darn tired and traffic on I-40 W was backed up for miles.nI politely told the same male desk clerk about these things, even showed him the picture.nHe said a repairman was coming to fix the loveseat to which I replied, the dumpster is the only help for that loveseat and it was an eyesore; plain and simple.nStay clear of exit 31 (Canton, NC) 40 W 'America's Best Inn' because it is America's worst nightmare.nNot again.

Rented rooms for construction workers. Rooms were ok for price. Approx 2½ months later they got my credit card again. Supposedly they had under charged me and were getting the difference

Dusty AF but a good value

This place did for me what I needed it to do... I was able to stay there for over a week. To be rooms are pretty recently made over , and either over looking the pool / secluded back yard and picnic area. Owners are reasonable to deal with... The wierd guy you may notice that is definitely not fixing his truck but is PRETENDING to work on it ....is a cop
