Quality Inn & Suites Airpark East

Well.. I will start off by saying I stay with choice hotels frequently and am a platinum member.I had stayed at this hotel the night prior but in a different room.I had no issues night one.Last night I was in a different room as the hotel was almost at 100percent capacity due to power outages in Greensboro. I woke up this morning to a disturbing situation,as I awoke and laid in bed I saw something crawling out of the corner of my eye.Upon further inspection it was a bedbug.I immediately called the front desk and the gentleman’s response to me was “a manager will contact you”.He never offered another room(even though at this point I would have declined) and the customer service was horrible. I have not been contacted by anyone in management,and my concern is they will rent this room and this issue will not be resolved.We have a lot of people in Greensboro without power and I would say to you all “be careful”.When I checked out he just preceded to take the bedbug,put it in a plastic bag,and tell me “manager wasn’t available,and someone would be in touch”.There is a different gentleman who works the front desk at night who is EXTREMELY nice,but this gentleman I believe is related to management.Please be careful guys,I will be reporting them to the State,Health department,etc.This situation occurred on 2/14/21 please stay alert if you are planning a stay with this hotel.

With last week's storms quite a few people found themselves without power for several days and this hotel took guests with very short notice and even opened rooms in wings that had been closed due to low occupancy from previous covid-19 restrictions. A friendly atmosphere was evident and all the Personnel I spoke to were eager to help in any way they could. Our room had only minor problems which were resolved quickly and the beds were extremely comfortable!

I'm a choice member and stay frequently at hotels and this was by far the worst hotel. The microwave was missing a handle, the vent in bathroom had dirtand d dust in it. With the fan on the bathroom smelled like mildew. Holes in walls and makeup stains on towels. The only thing good about this hotel was the indoor swimming pool my kids enjoyed. I will never stay here ever again. My stay was 2-15-21

They pulled the old bait and switch. They quoted me one price and then charged me 20% more. I don't like dishonest organizations. They also told me that they had the regular complimentary breakfast service available. When I got there I found out this wasn't true also. I've asked for someone in management to call me but they haven't. I would strongly advise not staying at this place. I showed them the rate that was quoted to me and they looked at it and said yeah we're not going to honor that.
