Residence Inn by Marriott Greensboro Airport

The rooms are disgusting. Everything is covered in dust. I have a 2 bedroom suite, neither TV in either bedroom worked and they won’t fix it. As a travel agent I like to experience different hotels in order to get my clients honest feed back. I would not recommend this hotel; very dirty if you must stay here bring disinfectant. There were fresh blood droplets in the floor on the carpet , it doesn’t look like housekeeping even touched the room....there is no hot breakfast also looks outdated.

I stopped by for a room quote, the young gentleman Joe was very knowledgeable about the room. His customer service was amazing and pleasant. I would recommend this place to everyone. Easy access from the interstate. Your just minutes away from restaurants, and shopping centers. Not to mention the airport is not that far. You will not miss your flight.nThanks again, for having a wonderful host at the desk to help me and my family!

Let's start with the one good thing about this hotel. The location. That's about it.nnWe were visiting our young grandchildren who live nearby. We do not. So any time we get to spend with them is precious. Especially throughout this covid stuff. When we called to make the reservation we confirmed that there was an indoor pool on the property. However, when we got there we discovered the pool was closed. Why don't they tell us that? I guess they thought we only wanted to look at it. We felt decived. Keep in mind we called the actual hotel to make our reservation. We did not use the corporate reservation number. So the onsite person we talked to was aware of our plans.nnNow, as far as the room condition.. I tried to post pictures. They would have spoken louder than my words. Dusty vents, filthy cabinets, drawers had not been wiped out,ncandy wrappers behind furniture. Just dirty in general. I will advise taking a look at the room before you settle down.

It looked really nice from the pictures, but then as soon as I walked in I realize that house keeping didn’t do barely anything to clean the room. If you’re going to stay here make sure you bring your own sanitizing wipes and prepare to clean the dishes yourself because most likely house keeping didn’t do it. Also, there are no USB ports, so you’re going to have to make sure you bring your own charging cube. Don’t try using the phone in the room, because it does not even work at all. Also, if you’re about to check out, make sure house keeping knows you’re still there, otherwise they will just walk in without knocking. I wouldn’t pay the extra price for the fire place, it’s a waste of money. There is only a 30 min max. setting on the timer and it still doesn’t heat up the cold hotel. Even if you put the heat on, the air conditioner will still go off in the closet and bed room if you paid for the room with the fire place. If you’re planning to cook, the pots are extremely cheap and will burn any food easily, but once again you might not want to cook since they don’t clean the pots and pans. Also, had trouble with the tv and called a maintenance worker to help fix the problem with the tv. The guy couldn’t even fix it and we ended up finding out the problems ourselves. If you still decide to get this pretty, yet deceiving looking hotel, I hope you get a room on the top floor so you don’t hear constant jumping of kids on the upper floors, but I really don’t recommend this place. You can find places cheaper or same price for a better and cleaner hotel.

Wonderful hotel! The king suite was absolutely amazing. Staff was great and the room was clean and ready when I arrived at 3. I will be staying with them again in the future!
