Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro Airport

Let’s start with the positives. We greatly appreciate the great room rates and how spacious our suite was. Appreciate having to sign up to access the pool due to the pandemic. Thanks for keeping your guests safe! The downside is the hotel appeared to be quite understaffed. Never received the extra towels we requested. When we called the front desk in the a.m. the front desk made it known they were the only person working. When asked about additional towels we were interrupted & informed to put our old towels out first. We never received enough towels to begin with. We will stay at Embassy Suites again, but will consider other locations instead of the Centreport Drive location. A good stay, but was looking for a great stay.

We really Really REALLY wanted to love our stay here. We canceled our reservations at Hampton Inn as soon as we realized there was a nearby Embassy Suites.nnIt's been a few years since my last ES stay but I have nothing but fond memories of their great breakfasts and adjoining sitting area with every room.nnWhelp... this location left us disappointed. It's like they are the neglected step-property and in dire need of a rehab. The decor is pretty dated, the carpets stained, and the staff we encountered did not seem to prioritize professional customer service in how they interact with guests.nnNot sure if all their properties only have double beds, but they are barely larger than a twin mattress and definitely only suitable for 1 adult. We didn't want to use the sofa couch as the bedding for the kids, so that left us with very cramped sleeping arrangements.nnQueen sized mattresses should be the absolute smallest size that any hotel has in their double rooms! Don't think I've ever seen mattresses so small in any hotel I've been in!nnDue to Covid, their breakfast is scaled down from their usual, but still a bit better than comparable options (french toast, eggs, hash browns, sausage links). Also, if you want housekeeping service, you must reserve it in advance or you risk them not being available for same day service.nnIf you can overlook the stated issues, recommended for party of 1 adult + 2 small kids or 2 adults only.

Good location. Room clean & stocked. Great job with TV remote cleansing (sanitized & wrapped) but staff does a terrible job with not asking folks to wear their masks. Everyone in this state who doesn’t like wearing a mask seems to be staying here.nnAlso the hand sanitizer dispenser at the entrance to the dining area was out for two days even after I notified the front desk after the first day. Yuck!nnNice of them to allow us in pool (10 at a time) but sure wish the water wasn’t freezing:/nnCouldn’t get housekeeping to pick up towels and trash outside of my door after 3 calls in 24 hours...

Very clean, and was serving breakfast. Location is a great as its located next to airport and interstate 40. Last night of our stay there was so many children playing in the fountains area below my room. Lots of noise from the.

Great staff, the managers reception is nice way to meet other travels. But usually my stays go back to staff. And this one is one of the best. The rooms are nice and big, very quiet . The best are fresh and soft!
