Homewood Suites by Hilton Greensboro

They promote digital check in, yet I had to go in and check in AGAIN at the front desk. Was not told how to get to the room, hotel building was built in a very confusing way. There were burn marks all over the dining table. The bathroom sink had not been wiped. One of the phones in the room didn’t work. And when we called the front desk for bedding for the pull out couch the lady refused to bring it to the room and I was told I needed to come down and get it. i have NEVER stayed at a hotel where bedding or towels weren’t brought to the room. First and LAST stay here!!!

Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I also enjoy the daily breakfasts and social hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. They also do a great job of accommodating pets and most pets are well behaved.

We used Homewood to have a handicap accessible room for 7 weeks for my mom. She had fallen and broken her right hip and right wrist. None of us had a handicap accessible home and did not want her to go to a nursing home. This was an excellent option. Jordan arranged us to preview a room and discussed our cost options. We got to know everyone and they all went out of their way to help with anything we needed. They cheered my mom on on our daily walks around the halls and were very encouraging during a difficult time for us. They have a safe and clean breakfast bar and an evening reception on mondays thru thursdays. My sisters and I provided 24 hr care and they came from out of town. I40 is right behind the hotel which was great for them coming in. Its location is quiet and doesn't have a lot of hotels clustered together and we always felt safe. Maybe a good marketing idea for other families that may experience something similar with a loved one as an option other than a nursing home for intermittent recovery. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff here. The lobby too looks very new and is clean and inviting. Looks upscale. Thank you all!
