Best Western Plus Hanes Mall Hotel

The staff was more than helpful. unfortunately my wife got sick the first night here due to some bad takeout but the staff asked about her well being each and every time I came down to the lobby. The hotel manager was very friendly and engaging. Wife said it is her new favorite hotel in Winston Salem. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK to room with you again! That is a 100% GUARANTEE! Checked in at 11 am took a nap woke up and found around 12 roaches crawling on everything from phone to mini fridge and bed. caught 3 in one swipe with a clear plastic cup and left covered by cup for hotel staff to see. was moved 2 floors up to new room. as soon as I stepped off the elevator you could taste the bug spray in the air. This along with Rude staff when trying to check in with my service dog, The front desk person breaking the law and demanding I show service papers for her. when she has the Jacket tags and service dog is written on jacket. when told she was breaking the law, with a straight face of not one care her reply to me was (SO). I should have known then to just walk away and find a new hotel. I was looking forward to the jetted tub room after a week on the road. but no the tub is missing 5 of 6 nozzles. I asked the lady at front desk if they knew someone had stolen all the nozzles for the jetted tub and the first thing said was ( IT STILL WORKS RIGHT?) no, no it doesn't work like it should u cant adjust the jetted flow 0 pressure. ALSO if you still decide to stay anyways. and this is of no fault of the hotel. bring a car cover. the 10,000 + crows that nest here will just leave you disgusted but the amount of poop they just cover the whole property in within just moments of them flying in. My stay here was reserved for a week. here i am awake at 1:24 am after moving all my stuff up 2 floors into a new room and just wondering when the bugs will show in this room. I will be requesting a refund in morning. canceling the rest of my weeks reservation and finding a better hotel. If not for being 1:30 am now I would just leave and find another.

My husband and I stayed 1 night and it was not a tolerable stay but it wasn't related to room comfort or cleanliness. There were 2 guys across the hall habitually smoking pot. It absolutely reeked! I notified the woman at the front desk that something needed to be done and that my husband and I couldn't tolerate it. She said they are leaving soon so don't worry about it. They never left! When we got up in the morning we both felt like we had sinus issues, headache, nausea, and whole room smelled like skunk. The entire hallway smelled like skunk.

Hotel ideal location however upon entering the doors need cleaning and the room smell like smoke it just not like it was when it first opened. Carpet had what it appears to be burns. 3rd floor by elevators need to be cleaned or repaceThey charge a 200.00 deposit for what? I would rate 2.5 ud83cudf1f I should note I personally didn't stay the Night I was visiting my daughter for her birthday
