Lucky Bar Farm

From the first moment you arrive Nancy and Steve are the perfect hosts on an absolutely lovely property. We were treated like honored guests in their home. We stayed for 2 nights and selected the optional gourmet chef dinner both nights. Steve is a true gourmet chef and wine enthusiast. The food and complimentary wine were excellent. The breakfast each morning was fabulous. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy! At a time like this in our world it is so great to to be able to spend a little time away yet close to home knowing that their home is immaculately clean and safe. They have a beautiful rocking chair lined front porch and a huge back deck overlooking the pool and pasture. The goats, donkeys and horses were so much fun to watch and pet. Their golden retriever is the friendliest dog we ever met. We can't wait to return to our new favorite get away.

From being greeted at the driveway, with help with our bags, to being sent home with cookies, to magnificent food in between, the stay could not been any nicer. What a blessing to see two people who have so enthusiastically engaged in the gifts of hospitality and service that God has bestowed. From the laughter, to the music, to the conversation, to the beautiful setting, to the feeling of rest and refreshment, it is a weekend we will not forget.

WOW!! We loved staying here so much. From the beautiful farm and home to the surrounding area, you will not be disappointed. Steve and Nancy were so welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we pulled into the driveway. Sun Dance (their beautiful golden retriever) is the best greeter of all. We went out to eat the first night and decided the second night to stay in and have dinner there. 5 stars on dinner! Steve is an amazing cook and his knowledge on wine makes you feel like you're at a Michelin rated restaurant.nnThe rooms are impeccable and they really put a lot of effort into the little things from constant water to snacks to never having an empty glass. Breakfast of course was amazing as well. We did have several food allergies and they were more than accommodating which made us feel even more special.nnSteve and Nancy are good, kind hearted people and we are so happy that our road led us to Lucky Bar Farm. We will be booking again with them soon and would highly recommend for anyone and everyone alike.

Nancy and Steve provided a wonderful getaway for a new mother. I was able to relax, enjoy home-cooked food, hikes on the property, snuggles from all the animals and great conversations. Lucky Bar Farm is welcoming, peaceful and a relational B&B. Thank you for all the extra details that made the stay all the more enjoyable. We were suppose to be in Jamaica to celebrate my husband's birthday, but due to Covid the trip was postponed. I wanted to surprise him with a weekend away, and luckily came across this charming bed and breakfast. It was the perfect weekend. Nancy and Steve are absolutely wonderful hosts, constantly making sure we had everything we needed. We had an incredible breakfast of bacon and eggs, waffles, fresh blueberries and strawberries and this delicious blueberry crumble bread. We signed up for the Professional Educational Wine Seminar and found several new favorites, and the birthday dinner that Steve prepared for us was out of this world. My husband commented it was simply the best Filet Mignon he had ever had. The homemade cookies and ice cream made by Nancy was the perfect ending to a great meal. We enjoyed the pool, we relaxed on the porch, and had some wonderful conversation with our hosts. Highly recommend staying here.
