Dry Ridge Inn Asheville Bed and Breakfast

We have stayed at the Dry Ridge Inn several times and will again in the future. The inn is beautiful, cozy and comfortable. Howard and Kris are great hosts and will do whatever they can to make sure you are comfortable and will make sure your time there is memorable. Weaverville is a great little town with great restaurants. It is located close to other attractions as well. I highly recommend the Dry Ridge Inn.

I booked a queen room on the second floor. Such a warm and comfortable place to relax, read or watch one of the many movies in the Inn’s library. Kristen’s breakfasts are different each day with fruit and juice and of course coffee. Howard is a great host providing many ideas on how to explore western North Carolina. There is so much to experience a return trip will be on my schedule. Come and Enjoy

We stayed here for two nights in early August and were the only guests at the time. Our Hosts were wonderful and very accommodating, although we had no special requests. Howard was very informative and gave us a nice tour of the Inn. He kept us company over most of our breakfast which was nice to have someone else to talk with and to hear about his (and Kristen) and the Inn experiences.nnThe Breakfast was truly delicious and without any requests the food was typical of what we enjoy for breakfast. Kristen prepared fresh peaches with raspberries and a nicely enhanced yogurt sauce over the top. In addition, she prepared Belgium Waffles with Vermont Maple syrup; topped with Raspberries and a dusting of confectionery sugar. And of course whatever beverages you preferred.nnThe off-street parking was very convenient. The grounds around the Inn were well maintained and very pleasant to walk around. There is a very nice little garden area off the dining room.nnOur room (Amanda Rose) had everything we could ask for, including a small refrigerator (unique to the room we had selected). A nice sitting area in front of the fireplace. It would have been nice to have some sort of table in front of the sofa but we made do, using a small ice chest. We had a King bed that was very comfortable and the AC unit in the window provided much appreciated cool air in conjunction with the overhead ceiling fan. We had access to the 1st floor pantry that included a variety of beverages including (3) types of wine and snacks.nnThe location of the Inn enables a nice walk into town and to several interesting sounding restaurants. We instead elected to drive to a restaurant recommended to us by someone who lives in Weaverville. We drove to The Stoney Knob Cafe, about 2 miles down the road and so grateful we did because the menu was eclectically creative and the dishes we ordered were excellent.nnIf the opportunity arises again we will return to the Dry Ridge Inn B&B.

Had such a wonderful and cozy time! Can't wait to go back.
