French Broad River Campground

The riverside campsites give you an amazing view. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Their website states that your camper should be a maximum of 32'. Mine is 32' and it was extremely tight getting it in and out of the site. If you approach the campground from the north you may have to go down the road and turn around to be able to enter the campground due to the hairpin turn in.nOverall we thought the place was great! On checkout day I drove to the end of the campground to see if there was a place to turn around with the camper and there wasn't. Not for my 32' camper at least. I was a bit disturbed by the appearance of the campground towards the end of the road. There are what appears to be permanent residents and the campers are less than attractive. Some are very deteriorated.nThe river view and friendliness of the owner make the place wonderful.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our camper. The grounds are a narrow strip of land between the road and the river. Our site had electricity, water, cable, and sewage hookups. It was paved and level and about as close as one could get to the river. In between the paved area and the river was a little beach area. It was very quiet; just the sound of the river and the occasional truck and train, which didn’t bother us. The view of the river right outside our door was simply gorgeous. The staff/owners were kind people. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not a fan. Views are beautiful except for the views of what I think are campers that live there permanently. They make the place look kind of gross and junky. We didn't even stay our second night.

We've been in many campsites in USA. This one is in my top 3. The first one in my list. I love that's inches away from the river.

It was a good place to be Bill and Glenda we're great but it is no more because they're selling the place
