We rented ski & snowboard equipment here for a day at Beech Mountain. The rental process itself was much quicker, easier, and smoother than renting at the resort, so I appreciate that. Because of the ease and convenience of the rental process, I wanted to give them a great review. HOWEVER, none of the rental staff were wearing masks inside! I hate to give negative reviews, but as a customer, I really did feel like they couldn't care less about customers' health/safety. They were in very close quarters to me, even helping to put on and fit my ski boots when I was having issues. We were inside the small rental room for a decent chunk of time getting fitted for gear, and the staffers were just breathing on us without any masks or distancing. It felt very much like this business didn't care about my heath or well-being. If you choose to go here, just be warned that they are not taking precautions to make customers feel comfortable or keep them safe (including the basic courtesy of wearing a mask indoors when interacting with customers from all over the country).

Great staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We rented ski gear from them ahead of time but failed to book lift tickets on line. Next two days were sold out after we arrived. They told us Appalachian still had tickets if we booked right then and we were able to get out there for two days and then book 4 day tickets for Beech after that.nnWe ate lunch at White Wolf today and it was very good. Highly recommend the Wolf Burger. We also had the Wolf Dog and BBQ pork sandwich. Everything was excellent and the service was fast!

Best rental prices on Beech mountain and the most friendly staff!nnTrish helped me over the phone with booking snowboard equipment and knew exactly what we would need and didn’t try to upsell us but rather worked with us to save money!nnWhile picking up our equipment the staff was able to fit us and work with us to make sure we were comfortable and ready for the snow!nPlus all the equipment worked and was very reliable!

Have not even been yet and can already give a 5 star review! Will definitely be renting our ski equipment from here! Great customer service! I called and they returned my call right away, super patient with all of my questions, and actually seemed happy to help!

I rented my equipment from there and had it for 2 and a half days. I only used it for maybe an hour 1 day, didn’t use it the second day, and the third day tried to use it but the ski was broken and my foot wouldn’t clip in without someone helping me by pressing down on the clip behind my foot. I had multiple people try and help me get it clipped in at Sugar Mountain and no one could figure it out. I decided to not even try to get my money back since they have a non-refundable policy but I’m very disappointed that I wasn’t able to really even try skiing my last day since it was broken. I had no issues the first time I used it days before but there was no way of getting it to clip in myself.
