Everything was great about this place! Location, atmosphere, views, friendly staff, delicious breakfast.nWe stayed there in January for our snowboarding trip and planning on going back in December.
The stay here was awesome. The place has the feel of a cozy bed and breakfast, but it still feels private. One lady runs it but she is awesome and genuinely cares about your comfort and stay. She’s very friendly. My only recommendation would be to update the bathrooms a little. I love the Colonial Inn style, but the bathrooms should be updated some. I will definitely stay here every time I visit the area.
The inn is very charming and cozy. Patti makes sure you have everything you need for a great stay. There are snacks and drinks available to enjoy by a cozy fire. The breakfast was delicious. We felt at home in this warm atmosphere.
Wife and spent a nice quite weekend up at The Inn at Elk River in Banner Elk, NC. Beautiful place, great service, and super friendly staff! Place was amazing. Highly recommend anyone looking for a mountain getaway to check it out! Convenient to Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, and Boone, NC!
We loved the secluded location and gorgeous view from the deck outside our room's door. A delicious, hearty breakfast in the sunroom overlooking a valley and mountainside was the perfect start to the day every morning.nnDoreen is an excellent innkeeper and did everything possible to make sure our stay was the best ever. Mission achieved!
