Very poor phone etiquette, hang up’s, multiple transfers, on hold over 12 minutesnnStaff was hard to reach by phone- always voicemailnVery informal review of paperwork that was reviewed when being admitted which led to the patient being declined the day before transfer: left the family with no guidancenUnsympathetic: no apologiesnDid not follow hospital protocol with the entire situationnPoor staffing... The administrator did not offer any sympathy.nI talked to two other rehab facilities today. They were so professional. There was none of the placing me on hold and hanging up on me. I got transferred to the correct person the first time and I did not get a voicemail. They assured me that they would improve my experience. They said they would call me back the same day. They were very friendly.nI had considered CLC as a nursing home later on for my mother. I do not think that will be a choice.nnThis is Leann Weathersby not Larry.

My grandma went here and her condition did a full 180 she got alot better and lost a lot of weight. The staff is professional and kind and many have personal conmections to the patients. The place is clean and overall its a happy atmosphere.

My mother was at Copiah Living Center for FOUR years. When we first got there, the care was great. My mother never had issues. She never had bed sores or any issues relating to negligence. Towards the end of her stay she had repeated UTIs and C-Diff infections happening less than a week after being cured. My mother is unable to walk and she never left her room. So how would she have gotten those issues??? Under the supervision of the new administrator I personally feel the level of care has suffered dramatically. Additionally the accounts manager was very nonchalant when it came to closing my mother's account thus causing problems for her transition to a new facility and she didn't care. She had this attitude of you will just have to wait when she had promised everything would be completed previously. She did not follow up and she avoided responding when there were questions. By the time we left, the only bright spot management wise in that facility was Nicky. She is the reason they got two stars! She was very helpful and always worked to resolve issues. The director of the facility never communicated and never worked to fully resolve issues. I would NOT recommend this facility under the current management team.
