Residence Inn by Marriott St. Louis Westport

The Hotel was Great! Quiet, clean. The front desk clerk was very professional. Rooms were spacious & we'll equipped. Had only two issues, bathroom sink was stopped up & water would not get hot. Reported it and was compensated 50.00 off the bill. Overall the stay was Great. Will stay again

Called to get a room. Was transferred to an automated system and waited 15 minutes on hold. Finally got somebody and requested a room with a king mattress, etc. Get to the hotel and there is little parking. Get up to my room to find a smaller mattress. The room is small and nothing like the pictures. Staff were rude and non - friendly. A lot nicer hotels for the money in the area. Silver lining is that they still have typical marriot stuff, but it's a cheap hotel with a polish on top. Avoid.

On 2/20/2021 my family and I were housed at this Residence Inn through my job for a few weeks due to a house fire tragedy. So we were there for a few week. On this day while getting ready to go run errands and pick up my kids from school, my husband and I were having an disagreement and it got slightly loud. Minutes later we were met by a knock on the door by staff. I was not dressed and just got out of the shower so my husband answered the door. There were 3 staff saying they had a complaint about noise. I apologize from away from the door and stated I was indecent and we were leaving the room in a few after I’m dressed so there would be no more noise. And as my husband tried to close the door the Caucasian female staff members says “no you have to leave, and will be evicted by 3pm” and left. I got dressed and on my way out stopped by the desk and no one was there so I left. When I got back from picking up my children, I was met with the same woman from earlier and another Caucasian man who said they spoke with my jobs HR team and has told them about multiple complaints from our room as if it was multiple occasions just so we could be evicted. The same woman said who knocked on the door stated “well I knew I was gonna evict you after the first complaint”. That statement and situation made me and my family feel so uncomfortable and I knew at that moment we were being racially profiled. I was in shock by the statement but I grabbed my family and grabbed our things to leave. On the way out one of the staff tried to apologize but I told him that I didn’t blame him or the situation and that he knew who was wrong and left.

What a great place to stay but during covid-19 some things were limited. I stayed in a studio suite and this was still an excellent choice. The Funny Bone comedy club was just a couple of minutes away were I caught a great comic on valentine's day wkndud83dudc4dud83cudffeud83dudc4dud83cudffe. Will definitely be visiting again.

I booked this hotel for my client who wanted access to an indoor pool so that her children can swim. After her stay I followed up and asked for her experience an she informed me that it was not good. She was threatened repeatedly to be put out by staff. She invited a few children to the hotel for a 5 year old birthday for a dip in the pool. She stated that a shift of service employees were very rude, however the staff later were very nice and accommodating. She stated that she will never visit the establishment again.
