Wait times for pharmacy are awful. One of the Asian pharmacy technicians has a hard time understanding my perfectly clear English and they for some reason never have my insurance info saved in the system.

The manager that works here at 8:30pm on 01/08 was the worst Walgreens manager I ever talked to. I placed an order online for pick up there using a coupon. When I placed an order, the items I wanted were available. But then I received an email that 1 item (I needed most and carried the cost of the order) was out which is understandable. Now I coupon is gone and I could not use it to order at a different Walgreens. Called and he just straight up told me “OK LET ME CANCEL THE ORDER”, did not even offer another option. And he was chewing while talking to me on the phone. So coupon is gone which is 35% off of the total order! Luckily, I went to another walgreens and told the manager what happened, he happily price matched whatever the discounted price of the item after the 35% off. This is customer service! Thanks Thomas at the Walgreens on Kingshighway in South City!

The people who work at this location really are trying their hardest to make it dope. A few things to beware of that have nothing to do with them:n1.) “Cart People”: Fairly frequently you’ll find yourself behind somebody with a cart full of millions of small items and 80 coupons. Usually somebody else will jump on register and save you from this hell. No explanation for why they exist, but my tip is to grab one of the magazines in the front and read through it.n2. Do not shop here on Christmas. Get your last minute gift elsewhere unless you absolutely want to meet everybody who lives nearby.n3. Local alcoholics have a mark on this place, so the $5 vodka is often out. Bring at least $15 if you’re trying to buy hard alcohol. The little bottles go fast.nSome employees are cooler than others. But hey, it’s a functional store that has almost everything you could need. I’m grateful it exists.

I wanted to transfer a prescription here, so I called, was on hold for 15 minutes, and was then hung up on. I don't have time to deal with that disrespect, so I took my business elsewhere. Get it together, y'all.
