This hotel is usually my first choice when traveling but I did not have the best experience with my last stay during the Easter weekend. The site stated the pool was closed and the kitchen was open and when I checked in ( the very next day) it was the opposite. That and a few other things did not bother me as much as because I decided to stay an additional day. Before I checked out I was charged for the first day and then charged for an additional day which was correct but I asked for a receipt for my records things changed. I was charged for the entire stay as I checked out, so I was charged three different times . I was told I would receive a credit which I have not received yet. Hopefully this will be resolved in a timely manner and I will post an update. I would love to give a better review but you have to earn and deserve it.
I’ve stayed at this location twice. The first time was in March 2019 and my room was spotless. I was super impressed and so happy with the hotel that I can back in Dec 2020. I complimented the cleaning staff during my first stay. My stay in Dec was lackluster. The room floors weren’t clean. My confidence in this location has gone down and I decided to stay elsewhere on the way back to Texas. I can say I was in a different area of the hotel so it is possible the cleaning staff is different but I expected more.
Checked me into a dirty room during Covid. Then charged my card way more than the original amount that was indicated. Call IHG since I'm a rewards member. They were super helpful and opened two cases for me for the manager to follow up on but no one ever did. The only reason I'm leaving two stars is because of the two wonderful human beings that were working when I checked out. They were kind, understanding, & professional. They were super helpful to me and made me feel better about talking to the manager about my issues. I will avoid booking her at all costs from now on and will most definitely warn everyone I know to STAY AWAY!!!!!
I was a little harsh on my first review of the hotel so I gave them a couple more stars. The bathrooms could use updating and the rooms were pretty plain. When we checked in the room still had garbage in the can and one of the beds covers had a stain. Customer service was good.
We will return there is nothing negative to say about this place. Great location shopping access to everything low crime good parking pool and hot tub were clean and warm along with the rooms that were great as well.
