Great value for the money. There's only a couple of restaurants and no stores within walking distance, so this is not a place to stay without a car. Water is occasionally hot enough to take a bath. When I checked in after getting off my late overseas flight, the room had towels on the floor and an unmade bed. But after that things went smoothly for the two weeks I was there.
Okay I don't like to rent and rave about a place but I took some pictures of the floor and there was a magazine under the bed a sock tons of dirt and dust it was not very clean the towels were stiff some new towels would be nice and if the laundry like the bedding smoke clean that would help a lot too.
Please avoid!!! The staff is incompetent from the front desk to management. They can not answer basic questions nor perform the duties of their job. I stayed there 3 months. Reservation mishandled multiple times for example prior to leaving for a holiday weekend and knowing my reservation would end before I returned. I spoke with front desk who told me I could not make a new reservation since I still had days on the current reservation. I spoke with manager on duty at time to extend my reservation (as I would be leaving some of my belongings in the room) who told me to do a 3rd party authorization on my card to extend my reservation which I did only to find once I returned I was told I no longer had a reservation. I paid on a monthly basis to keep it simple or at least so I thought only to find out that after the 30th day my tax exempt (a credit I’m still due) was completely mishandled. Asked the front desk multiple times, management and finally escalated to corporate level only to be given the run around which was the last straw for me.
We had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The hotel was super clean and close to all sorts of fun stuff to do for families. They even had a complete menu for room service with great prices. This is definitely worth checking out if you're needing a good place near the KC Expo Center or Airport! Thankful for the hospitality and kindness we were shown here.
Would NOT recommend. Poor Customer Service. Room was not clean. Stained dirty furniture. No ammenities. Was charged a $100 deposit that was not disclosed when the reservation was made, plus a nights stay when I left and never stayed b/c of the poor service and uncleanliness of the room. Managers were not available or helpful. The photos online were not the reality inside the room. Smokers were right at the entrance. Place was disgusting.
