Found the Acorn Inn while looking for our weekly 34 hr restart as we are truckers. What a gem. Hospitality the way it should be. Very well kept rooms with comfortable beds, hot showers and the breakfast was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained providing a place to walk around and enjoy the area. Restaurant near by as well as truck parking. Could not be happier.n.

I spent over 200 days in hotels last year, the Acorn was a pleasant surprise. Stopped driving due to whiteout, read all of the reviews (6 hotels within a mile), chose this place based on others' opinions. Very nice room, spacious and very clean. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee, great bed and sheets. Front desk was very helpful (assume she was an owner), very happy at this price. Nice to stay in a non corporate place where people take pride in what they do.

I'm sitting in a different (unnamed) motel after vehicle troubles today further along our trip, missing the rooms at Acorn we stayed in last night. The beds were so comfortable, the room clean, nice linens. If I could drive back and stay again tonight, I would. There's a reason it's so well reviewed, kids. This is a nice place, kid friendly, pet friendly, and affordable. I'm trying not to cry!

Great place to stay!!! Clean, comfortable rooms. Linens in bathroom and bedroom are sparkling white. TV and WI-FI. Delicious breakfast choices everyday. Very efficient and kind manager and staff. I highly recommend this for a comfortably quiet place to stay in the Cameron MO area.nGuesthouse Acorn Inn Cameron

Oh my gosh, I was so impressed by this hotel! The room was massive, everything was really clean, and the grounds were beautiful. Throw in a friendly staff and free breakfast, and this hotel is a great deal. Oh, and speaking of great deals, our room rate was so low, they were practically paying us to stay. Honestly, I don't see myself being back in the area again, but I'd stay here in a heartbeat if I was.
