TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lexington Park Patuxent River Naval Air Station

Staff was friendly and helpful, however the place is really lacking in upkeep and cleanliness... I had to request a new room cause the toilet in the first room didn't work. The bathroom in the next room came with mold, hairs in the shower and broken toilet paper holder sitting on the counter...

Took the family to see St Mary's city and other sites in the area. This hotel is well located. Rooms are big and clean. WaWa is across the parking lot.nnRooms on the first and second floor could be accessed without going into an elevator, which was nice during COVID-19.

The room was fine. When we arrived the desk clerk did not have a mask on even though it was clearly stated that all guests entering need to wear a mask. Even though the website that hand sanitizer would be available throughout the hotel we did not see any. We found that the desk chair in our room was broken. We called the front desk to get a replacement. Even though it came immediately, the clerk had no mask on. When we entered on another day to return to our room the two women behind the desk had no masks and the four men that were gathered outside the desk did not have masks either. Even though I booked the room with Marriott points I was charged for the full price. I was told there was nothing they could do about because the system does not work that way. Will stay at another Marriott when I visit the area next time.

Fiona is an exemplary reception at this establishment. She tries to go above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable and address any problems I have. She is always smiling and I can tell she loves her job and takes pride in her position. She has made my say more stress free and more enjoyable. Good job hiring her.
