Bay Motel

Even though there are other places to stay in the area, the Bay Motel is always our FIRST choice! The rates are excellent, the rooms are super clean and comfy, and the motel manager Kathryn is the friendliest person you will ever meet! She will work her hardest to make sure your stay is a good one. Plus the location in the middle of a corn field away from other businesses means that it is super quiet with a great night-time star view!

The Managers are very hospitable and down to earth! The rooms were extremely clean & fresh! The atmosphere definitely reflectef thebwork of the Staff!! Kathryn & Jimmy are an awesome pair!

My family has been on lockdown for months due to COVID-19. All of us needed a weekend getaway. Bay Motel ended up being exactly what all of us needed. The motel is quiet, clean and reasonably priced. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There’s several places you can go fishing, catch a ferry to Tangier Island, small private beaches, family owned restaurants, etc. Money and time well spent!!!

i wanted to take my mom and sister on a mini getaway vacation to the beach and found this place. the rooms were super clean and they have a nice little picnic area outside where you can eat and grill meat. the owner was super friendly. the other customers alongside us were nice and minded their own business. its a little far from the beach, but other than that, i have nothing to complain about!!
