Navy Lodge Patuxent River

the hotel is nice, and the staff are great. However, gowifi is cancer and should be burnt at the stake. Never again.

We stay regularly at the Navy Lodge. With Covid being enforced, my GF ( a US citizen and Government employee) was not allowed into PAX, even though the guards allowed us the day before. Crazy, all of out clothes were in our room, but the gate guards wouldn't let my GF in because she didn't have a Post pass(???). Navy Lodge manager Dan Cornelius helped us getting back into the post, but we could not leave our lodging. PAX command needs to change their crazy policy for people lodging on PAX. Thank you Navy Lodge employees Dan and Maria for making our crazy stay as hospitable as possible.

Great condition, nice rooms with 2 queen beds, kitchenette with large fridge, stovepipe and microwave. Free basic breakfast and free wifi.

Bad

Room is a little damp,old but clean. The guy that works here is very professional. Quiet at night,however dark parking lot needs more lighting & should be on no later than 7 PM. Was very dark last night.
