This place needs a serious overhaul or retraining for their staff I had my prescription there to be filled I was due to run out that day and they told me it was too early to be filled the guy pharmacist knowing I would be out and they would be closed next day he even said I won't be here I found out the insurance should have covered it but he should have let me pay cash or offer to transfer it anyting knowing I would be without my medication I need for my well-being is an issue someone picked the wrong profession I believe on top of that I don't get any text saying my prescriptions are ready anymore it's like they wait till I get there to even start it to the very last minute to process it on purpose on the 30th of also had another prescription sent there and they're acting like it's not there or wasn't sent there prescription need to give me the words I messed up and they're basically gave me half of what I'm supposed to take I've let them know several times and nothing has been done about it I just can't believe or can't get over the fact pharmacist would let you go without something he knows you need he should know and know you'll be out of without any remorse you nothing just didn't care.

I am truly thankful for how caring and professional the staff at Walgreens in Lexington Park, MD is. I got my flu shot there last month and received great customer service over the phone as well as when I received my shot. They are extremely friendly and understanding of customer needs. Today, I was surprised and humbled by Matt's ability to expedite a much needed prescription. He even called to tell me when it was ready for pick up because he knew text notification would not come through. It is so nice to have a forward thinking and competent staff supporting my medical care.

Young guy who answered the phone was very unhelpful, so I had to drive 20 minutes out of the way to speak in-person; and this turned out to be a waste of time as my script couldn't be filled.nI move every three months for my job and am brand new to this area. Apparently Maryland has different rules than other states in which I've worked, but the young guy offered no suggestions or recommendations for getting my critical daily medication filled (which granted, he probably had none), but the fact that he showed absolutely zero compassion or sympathy toward my situation was the ultimate reason for this poor review.

I needed only 1 month of my prescription, but my primary insurance dictated that they fill 3 months... they were able to run the prescription through 2 insurances, so I was able to fill and pay for 1 month instead of 3. The girl who helped me was super knowledgeable and quick!! I went to 2 other pharmacies before this, and neither of them could do that. Excellent customer service!!!
