Holiday Inn Express & Suites King George - Dahlgren

I am very disappointed with my stay here!! The front desk was very kind and welcoming and went above and beyond for me specifically the young black girl who work the afternoon! I cant remember her name but she was incredibly sweet and was the only positive part of my stay. There were ants in my room and i had to be moved which was very unfortunate because other than that the room would've been great! I hope that management takes care of the issue. Id still recommend the property solely on the fact that their front desk staff was incredible and worked so hard to make sure the rest of my stay went well! so an 11/10 for the front desk and a 3/10 for the property!!

This is a great place to stay. Next time I'm in town I will be staying here. Very clean! Very nice employees! They are on top of their hospitality game!

Cozy and comfortable. Close to eating and Walmart. Naval Station only 5 minutes away. Rooms are quiet and clean. Hotel staff are helpful when needed however there evening staff seem to be quite young and inexperienced (BUT helpful and friendly). Being a Spire member their was no recognition. After 2 weeks on location I’ve still yet to receive my Welcome Bonus Points. Would love to rate 5 stars but the little things do matter. I stay in hotels rooms over 200 nights of the year and appreciate the smaller details being paid attention to.

i stayed here a few times within the past few months and a few times back over summer of 2020. I believe the hotel is under new management because i've noticed several changes that i know the old manager wouldn''t have made. Such as the pricing of the snack market. $4.00 for 2 peanut butter cups is a little excessive as well as the microwave dinners being priced at $6.00 when they're only $2.00 from Walmart! i wouldn't normally care about these things and i understand they have to make profits off their merchandise however the point of the market is for the convenience of the guests and by upcharging by 50% or more is just crazy. as well as i saw the girl who normally works breakfast being yelled at by a woman who i can only assume was the manager about something with the fridge and it was unnecessarily loud and mean. It made me uncomfortable not only for myself and the guests around me but for the employee. it was just unprofessional and uncalled for in my opinion. i will no longer be returning to this property.

We had to extend 2 more days but they were sold out, and the lady in the front desk helped us with that. Nice staffs. Very nice hotel. Even though I met a guest named Karen justices me by my race without knowing what I did for.
