Holiday Inn Hammond

This post is from a prior review I left this morning 12/18/2020. To the Holiday Inn owner who thinks we did this to ourselves. 1. Like my review said, the first room we got assigned was messed up already, strike 1. 2. The second room we got into, pulled the blanket back and there were bed bugs(with video for proof), so yes we inspected the bed and room and contemplated reporting this AFTER driving 7 hours! Strike 2. 3. The third room assigned we didn’t even unpack our things like the second room, we immediately inspected the bed and yes more bugs with video for proof. Strike 3! So PLEASE tell me after driving 7 hours and tired, why would we do this to ourselves? I have been a Platinum Elite member for a decade and never once complained. So, to basically call me a liar is very insulting and unbecoming of an owner. I don’t throw my military experience around much but after 32 years and sleeping in austere places, I’d rather not sleep with bed bugs, thanks but no thanks. Have a great day!

BED BUG!!!!nI slept for two nights in a haunted bed, when I reported what happened to reception, they didn't change my room because everything was full, and they didn't even book me a room in another hotel. i had to drive 45 minutes to baton rouge at 01:00 am.nI tried to contact the manager, but he never answered. I spent $ 300 on doctors and medicines, and another room and was never refunded.nyou will never see me again!

Had a reservation book tear for arrival date of February 19, 2021 I notify the hotel at the front desk not the customer service number front desk that I was going to be a very late arrival mind you I got a phone call from Sierra the front desk lady and she advised me that since I did not answer the phone and call back within 7 minutes from the time that she called me at 10:07 p.m. she called me at 10 p.m. I called back at 10:07 she said my credit card declined I said I know my credit card was going to decline however I advised you at 5pm when I called you. I was going to be using a using a different credit card upon arrival however Ciara goes on to state that she called her manager and her manager towards cancel my reservation which Put Me 2 hours away from this hotel for the reason why I needed to be in town at this location horrible horrible horrible I am an IHG member and this was unacceptable call for the general manager who is probably the owner and the general manager gets money never called me back so I goes on to call the Louisiana Secretary of State to find out who who is the actual business owner and I will in fact be emailing the distance I want to see there's more than one way to skin a cat if there's more than one way to find out who owns a property I even had staff members that work at the front desk to hang the phone up in my face

Friendly and helpful staff. Covid precautions in effect. Clean and spacious room with decent amount of parking in front.

Very nice hotel comfortable beds and clean big rooms. Liked the chance to get a meal to order for breakfast. Nice hotel - will return
