We are out here visiting the lake to fish and my husband and his buddy lost a motor and ended up at this boat ramp at 8:00 at night. They called me to come get them and when I did the owner/manager, I'm not sure who came out with a giant club/stick in his hand asking for boat ramp money. We only had $9 instead of the $10 and my husband explained we will go get it and that we had not planned to use the ramp we were just in an emergency situation. He was extremely rude and actually pretty odd. Didn't know if he wanted to threaten us with the stick? Will not go back based on this experience and yes he got his money.
Called ahead and reserved a car hauler Uhaul trailer. Mr. William was awesome to deal with and super nice. This was at the same time Texas closed the border to Louisiana and even would give me intelligence on DPS because he could see the area where they checked vehicles. Once I finally got to come rent the trailer after getting delayed by work multiple times, he was more than accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend this place if looking to rent any Uhaul equipment.

I would not stay here, just because for 10 more there is a much nicer place down the street.
