So much history in this B&B. I really loved the unique layout of the home and the beautiful landscape surrounding it. The staff was absolutely wonderful and kind to us. I would love to stay again and experience the heart of Vicksburg in this wonderful mansion.

Harley was wonderful and easily reached by text. Breakfasts were first rate. The building itself is a historical landmark and the tour of the hour provided after breakfast (at no charge) was enlightening and entertaining. Unlimited bottle water, coffee, and tea. Housekeeping was unobtrusive and thorough. Loved it and will be back.

We were granted a complimentary breakfast and tour at the Duff Green Mansion with our stay at the Steele Cottage, and it was perhaps the finest “free” experience I’ve ever had. The biscuits with breakfast were the stand out fare, served with butter and jam. After breakfast, our tour guide Tracy - dressed in authentic period garb - enthusiastically led us through an hour long tour of the home, sharing her extensive knowledge of the home and the history of Vicksburg. She even happily showed me and my husband through the downstairs servants’ quarters area when we requested to see it after the end of the formal tour. We learned so much, and were delighted to hear Tracy’s recounts of the paranormal activity that has been reported in the home. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, historic home. We enjoyed the tour of the house the following morning. Lots of history about the family and area. The breakfast was tasty but more like average hotel food....not the bed and breakfast experience. Employees are not observing mask guidelines and roam the house freely. It is also important to note that some guests experience supernatural/ghost experiences. We weren’t phased by it but the following morning we learned that other guests had left in the middle of the night to stay elsewhere after hearing things.

Some friends and I stayed in the Duff Green suite and had an amazing time! The mansion was BEAUTIFUL, breakfast was great, and Harley was fantastic. We got to listen to the story of the house after a wonderful three course breakfast and explore. All of the views were beautiful and it was a great place to relax and explore. I would recommend a stay here to ANYONE. The owner, Harley, was so friendly and welcoming, she was truly a fantastic host and did a great job telling us the amazing history of the hold. I truly cannot brag about this place enough! I will certainly be going back.
