Not open to public for tours due to the virus, but the grounds are well kept and gorgeous. Just to see this house is majestic. We walked around just to take some pics. It is definitely worth it. Maybe we'll come back one day when it finally opens up.
Even though it is closed during the Covid 19 crisis, we enjoyed a tailgate picnic on the levee across the road. The view of the home is magnificent. Can’t wait to be tour it when it opens again.
We rode bikes there from our riverboat. Interesting place to learn about the history of the antebellum south in the region.
The Nottaway House is very large with lovely furnishings! I especially liked the white room. The exterior with its white paint was lovely with my deep colored dress for photography. I did a photo shoot of myself in the morning and saw the house at night and sunset as well. It is quite a grand house to behold! Our room was fine with a wood carved bed. I enjoyed the pool as well as completely loved dinner and breakfast at the mansion's restaurant.
Beautiful historic venue with friendly staff, great food, and wonderful rooms on-site. Was lucky enough to get married there recently and had the families and wedding party stay on-site for our wedding weekend and could have not asked for a more perfect experience. LOVE!!
