Dead roach in the bathroom, stained carpet, holes in curtains, desk chair with a missing leg, broken A/C unit, soaked carpet from leaking sink, lingering weed smell in hallway and room. I could go on and on about the terrible conditions of the rooms (I had to be moved twice) but the only redeeming factor was that the employees were all super nice and helpful.
It's now a best western I love this hotel! Overnight lady was very accommodating and friendly and the hotel is very nice!
BREAKFAST IS GOOD! BTW This is no longer Fairfield Inn, it’s under new management. Our stay was okay, we stayed for one night. Wish we could’ve stayed elsewhere. Service was okay. The whole facility has room for improvement! Great potential! However you be the judge.
One star is one star too many! Please heed my warning and stay somewhere else. Baton Rouge is full of better options. This place is so nasty, the beds are awful (I literally woke up in pain), and the smell. Omg the nasty smell will haunt me. Please dont stay here. The housekeeping person (man) decided that I had already checked out this morning and came into my room while I was showering. At no point did seeing my luggage still here and the water running signal him that he was early. I liked to have died!! I will say it again DO NOT STAY HERE!! Sleep in your car before here.
