The staff were very friendly. Very helpful.. It was a fast check in and out. Breakfast was ready at the time I requested and i had plenty of choices to choose from.. and the room was really nice! The beds were very comfortable! I slept great. I for sure will be returning. Ty for a great stay! I recommend this hotel to all of my friends!
I hate to stay in a hotel when away from home but the beat western on essen la e in baton rouge made me feel at home away from home.the staff are so helpful and kind the room was so comfortable and clean I will be letting all my friends know to go there i had a great experience
The gal working at the front desk was nice. However, there were dirty condoms on the floor right outside of the elevator, and the room smelled like mildew. When we came into the room the towels were wet like already used, the carpet was damp in the room. The phone in the room was broken so had to use my cell phone to ask for towels. The elevator also decided to break on us. Then to top it off while I was sitting on the bed a bug ran across my chest.
It was a great experience. It was nice and clean. Aj was very nice and friendly.
Wish I could give it 1/2 star.. where to begin....n-Forst room we had STANK. Not sure what it was. They were happy to move is rooms, but the new one smeelrd great for 30 minutes...until the febreeze wore offn-leaky toilet that would cover the back wall of bathroom in water... Told them 2 times and nothing ever happened.n-Asked for towels 5 TIMES throught the day and it finally took me calling them 3 times in a row to get clean towels to take a shower before bed.n-Our room wasn't cleaned even once.n-only one staff member was helpful.n-I understand covid times, but website still said pool and things were open, definitely not the case. Wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't have 2 kids and the weather wasn't freezing and rainy.n- Then just wanted to talk with the manager... And of course he isn't here haha.nI guess the AC worked and we had a tv.. but other than that it wasn't great. Trash hotel
