This is such a nice, comfy and quiet hotel, owned and operated by a local family. With modern, updated rooms, the weekly rate is more than affordable and quite reasonable in comparisson to the local competition. They have a full range of workout equipment as well as a pool table. The nostalgia of the historic building is quite a treat as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we cannot wait to return!
Traveling for work and ended up staying here. I love the vintage feel with a modern touch. It's a very comfortable atmosphere and the owners are amazing people. Comfortable stay and very clean room. I highly recommend choosing them for your next stay.
Great atmosphere, quiet can't ask for better management
I am so thankful that I found this place on Google! I was visiting the plantations and needed an inexpensive place to stay for the night. The Inn on the River was clean, had hot water to shower, cool air conditioning, and plenty of parking.nnThe owner and I talked for half an hour when I checked in. We talked about Chicago, New Orleans, the plantations in the area, weddings, fireworks, bonfires- it was like we were friends catching up. I definitely would stay here again!nnThanks for reading my review!
Highly recommended! Nice place very affordable. It is an old building newly renovated inside. They did a great job! Pro: The WiFi is good. Con: Cell service is sketchy but that is not their fault.
