Good hotel to stay at but it could be a little cleaner. Other than that not many things to complain about.
Every surface was grimy. Dead bugs everywhere, including stuck to the wall above the toilet. Mold on the shower curtain. Everything smelled like cigarette smoke. AC leaked a puddle of water on the floor. Found ants crawling in the bed. Killed a roach and several massive flies. In short, this place is a fleabag motel - literally. There are at least 8 other hotels within 3 minutes of this one. You have options, people.
This is definitely the best place in Gonzales to stay for anybody working long-term or turnarounds. I've been here for over a month and a staff is overly friendly the rooms are clean perfectly every day and the ownership are great people as well. They have a great and zebo or you can barbecue instead of having to go out to eat every night if you so choose.so anyone that has anything bad to say about his hotel definitely hasn't been here long. My company pays for any place I want to stay in Gonzales and I choose the Cajun country inn.
Room very clean and tidy. Big kung size bed was compy. Close to everything food, Ranger Outlet mall, Cabellas, hospital.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They will bang on your door at 7 in the morning and again at 9 to ask you if you’re checking out. Check out is at 11. It is very unprofessional for them to wake you up twice just to ask if you’re checking out and don’t even think about a refund. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
