It would have been just fine, but first evening they were cleaning room and vacuuming at 10:30pm. Not too irritated because I wasn’t trying to sleep. The next evening when I had to wake up at 5am they were vacuuming at 12:30am. Who does that? How is that good customer service? They did stop vacuuming after a call to the front desk, but the noise of cleaning rooms and opening and shutting doors continued. Just not a good experience.
I would expect a much more updated room for $140 a night. From the popcorn textured ceilings to the peeling wallpapered bathroom I felt like I was in a decades ago mobile home park. Also, when I told the receptionist that I was checking out and that the water in my room only had ice bath cold or burn the baby hot she didn’t ask if there was anything they could do or to remedy a bad experience.
Had a good experienceud83dude0c. Waffles in the morning taste great. Loved the location , right next to a great Mexican restaurant, we were able to walk on over for some margaritas & good food !
Staff was friendly upon arrival getting my room promptly and pleasant throughout stay. However, the cleanliness and the wear of the room was poor. There was accumulated dust on the bathroom vanity where the towels placed. There was hardened food on the nightstand and hardened soap on the shower walls. The ‘clean stay’ sticker may mean that the tv remote, toilet, door handles etc might be wiped/sprayed with disinfectant but cleaning the shower, furniture, floor is not the same standard. The room and hotel is showing its age in the condition of furniture, vanity, shower doors. The toilet roll holder was falling apart. There is no microwave in the room which seems standard these days. I opted to cancel my second week here and stay next door at a newer facility
Nice and clean rooms . People are friendly and professional. Would definitely come back here . Just wish they had truck parking. Theres a truck stop across the street but they charge for parking there ...
