The pharmacist, Odetta, is the true shining star of this pharmacy. Honestly, she’s one of the most helpful people here. She is knowledgeable, goes above and beyond, is always working hard when I see her, and still maintains a smile on her face. Honestly, I was getting ready to switch pharmacies when she started working here. She’s the only reason I still come here to fill them.

Always a pleasure being in the store , especially in the mornings.

Email I sent about today...nI am a frequent Shopper of Walgreens. Mainly during the pandemic I go in for baby formula and cigarettes. I visited the store number 6138 in Decatur Georgia this morning and I was yelled at by the ASM Shaniqua. Shaniqua approached me and did not say anything so I said Hi how are you dot-dot in my Publix mask and hair tie. I am currently a assistant Bakery manager at Publix supermarket. I am understanding of retail and customer service. When the ASM did not say anything I said Hi how are you? She said hello you did not even give me a chance to speak you all get on my nerves thinking you can tell me how to act and what to say to you! What you don't understand is I'm on a conference call right now and she Taps her right ear I am very busy! I had no clue I should not be informed honestly of her business have at hand . She began to walk away because she did not have the keys to open the baby formula while she continued to talk she said I don't have to speak to you I'm here to get what you need what is it you need I told her baby formula she walked off to get her keys. She has no name tag so I did not find out her name until I asked the cashier. I walked to Cosmetics she asked me once she got back what I needed and then told me she was taking it up front. I'm writing to ask you is that part of Walgreens mission and is Shaniqua someone yo cu all stand behind because I cried at the cashier because I had never been treated so badly in my life in a retail establishment especially a Walgreen. She came up to the register where Brandon was being so helpful to assist me and I insured never to look her way because I was embarrassed and just needed to leave based on the way she treated me. I thought this would be a story you share with some of the store managers on your page coming from a manager myself and associate or manager acting in this way only tarnishes reputation reputations. I plan on calling the store manager and requesting that the video of the young lady's actions and Body Language be taken into consideration along with mine I am not the rude customer that is trying to play victim. I literally was a victim of store number 6138 today by the words and actions of their assistant store manager. It was embarrassing even though it was only us two; 100% true verifiable by any CCTV camera setup that Walgreens possesses. Even without audio her body language is intimidating and defensive. From one essential manager to another Please share my story in your group I'm scheduled today to work at 1 p.m. and I have not had time to call to speak with Nicole the store manager but I will follow the chain of command before I contact corporate.

The Pharmacist was so rude(he has a heavy accent). When I asked him about my medicine, he did not know how to explain the different medications to me. I could not believe he was a Pharmacist and it is scary to go pick up medicine and the Pharmacist do not know what you are consuming in your body. I will go to another Pharmacy.
