My wife and I have stayed at this facility on SEVERAL occasions. Each and every time has been enjoyable. The manager has been very helpful and remembers us from one visit to the next. Yes there are ducks, don't bother them and they will not bother you. For those that have mentioned trains as a problem, yes I hear them but they are not a problem. The management seems to constantly be upgrading and maintaining the grounds. It is a great place to stay.

This is a nice place not too far from interstate.n*It's quiet here except an occasional train.n*Reasonable nightly rates.n*Nice staff on phone & in person.n*We loved there's a little bit of privacy between sites where they installed small sections of fence.n*Graveled sites.n*Only a few feet from pond where you can fish (catch & release).n*The Grass is kept nice.n*Very close to downtown Hahira for supplies, food, etc.n*Bigfoot/Shell just outside of town back over interstate has plenty of room for rigs & good gas prices!n(Caution: Back gravel road between 2 sections of campground is under water right now due to Hurricane Zeta last week, but is draining well.)

Five stars is based on the level of experience expected for price and stated offerings.nnThis is a cute little park in the nice town of Hahira, Georgia. Located about 20 minutes from major shopping in Valdosta, it is a great value and relaxing place to stop. With Passport America, your rates are incredibly affordable. Spots are relatively small (thin), but do have a privacy fence which makes things nice. They have a wooden bench and fire pit (although it had been so wet, fires were impossible at this time). Each site has a nice view of a large pond and are relatively level. FHU that worked great. WiFi was not very good, but we didn't really expect it to be as I can't imagine they have a lot of options this far out. Sprint and Verizon cell service both worked fairly well.nnWe did spend a few evenings fishing (as did many others) and didn't catch, or see anyone, catch anything. Not sure when they stock and there were heavy storms in the areas the days prior so wouldn't mark off for that. It is a smaller park with limited safe walking options.nnStaff was very friendly on the phone and at check in and worked with us as we needed to change dates at the last minute due to storms. Best of all, the place was quiet and relaxing (mild train noise every once in a while). Sunsets were beautiful over the pond. Enjoyed our 5 night stay here and would stay again if in the area.nnWe did not use laundry or restrooms so cannot rate them and there are no other amenities that we were aware of.

Great campground with full hookups and nice long pull throughs not too far off 75. Peaceful, quiet, and a catch and release fishing pond with ducks to watch. Nice people. This has become one of our favorite stops for overnight!
