Our room was comfortable. We liked the sitting area and the hot breakfast was wonderful. Loved the waffles, bacon, sausage etc. We were surprised there wasn't staff on hand to wipe down tables. I didn't see hand sanitizer. ud83eudd37♀ufe0f. It was good that were disposable gloves to self-serve.
Honestly, this place is great. It's no Ritz-Carlton (and may have had a slight mildew smell last night that was gone this morning...I'm thinking from the pool?), but for a stopping spot on the way to Florida, it was great.n1) Well priced for the area.n2) They've got lots of covid restrictions, but honestly I think they're well picked, well-defined, and well-followed. (Just so you know- they did temp checks for adults)n3) They still had a hot breakfast! This morning was eggs, sausage, potatoes, and I think like biscuits. They also had individual packaged milk, yogurt, eggs, muffins, fruit cups, breads and bagels, etc. So really great choices for whatever your current comfort level is. (In my opinion)n4) Indoor pool is open till 9pm.n5) Friendly staff that explains well and is friendly about it.
Upon entering the hotel you are met with friendly courteous and efficient service. Not only do you see how perfectly maintained and clean the hotel is but you also smell the work put into ensuring a safe environment for the guests.
Overall clean, no weird smells, comfortable beds, friendly staff, easy parking, and a generally nice bathroom.nOur room had some leftover trash from the last guests and there was a weird clump of hair from someone's hairbrush on the couch. Bathtub was uncomfortable, sink doesn't plug, fixtures in bathtub were loose, and the main desk is impossible to get ahold of without actually going downstairs.
Eddie the Mgr is a joke. We made a reservation online. After we checked in we found out someone was in our room. According to the guest same thing happened to him earlier. When we went to complain he said that he is sold out and go somewhere else and call Hotels.com to get your money back. Shame on Best Western Corporation. Never again!
