I have stayed at this hotel several nights a year while in town visiting relatives. It was Travelodge before it became Baymont Inn. It has recently been renovated and has a brighter feeling. The location is perfect for me, close to the expressway and several fast food restaurants within walking distance. There is also a small shopping center with a grocery store and even a fun little night club. Overall, a great place to stay with a great price. Plus, it's a short ride to Savannah and Savannah/Hilton Head Airport.
Just wanted to leave this review to brag on the front desk Receptionist John that works in the evenings. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was very kind and sweet
Not a bad stay. Would be 5 stars if the heat/AC unit fan didn't knock like an engine, and the breakfast area was a little small.
Very nice room.. easy and fast check in / check out.. full hot breakfast.. eggs, sausage, biscuit, waffles, toast, muffins,bagels, juices and coffees, only draw back was a lot of noise from people outside through out the night.. a lot of truckers using this location and it seemed the noise was from lot lizards
Very nice for my short stay. Hotel was warm upon entry in the evening. Room was also hot due to the AC being off but once it was cut on the room cooled off in less than 5mins.nYea certain things could need updating especially the elevator, also a few fixtures within the bathroom but nothing major. Loved the USB ports by the bed and the lighting.nPeople expect 5star quality from a less than 3 star establishment, I’ll never understand that.nVery great room and business.
