I had a unique situation with upgrading my battery. URI worked diligently to correct the problem very satisfactorily. He worked beyond his quoted price and didn’t charge additional labor. They are local and convenient. I’m very satisfied with their work and highly recommend American Electric Bikes!

2021 UPDATE: Very disappointed with the inexplicable lack of communication from this guy. Won't return phone calls, texts, voice mail messages. Product remains good but salesman's disregard for a longstanding customer is troubling. Apparently, others here and on other sites have also encountered and complained about his poor customer relations.nnREVIEW FROM 4 YEARS AGO: The SuperFly is by far one of the best machines I've ever owned. I've had it for 14 months now and its performance exceeds all expectations I had when I bought it. Its tires have yet to go flat and its lithium battery functions excellently.nnArie's knowledge, expertise, and cordiality matches the quality of the bike he sells. His courtesy has been first-rate and he has been most helpful at every step of the process, from when he introduced the SuperFly to me to present day. He is the type of salesman who you will want to go visit, time and again (as I have), just to keep in touch, go for a tune up, or just to find out what's the latest technology enhancements he has to tell you about.

Don't believe them when they tell you they honor a 1 year warranty on their batteries. They did not resolve an issue I had with a battery I purchased 1 yr ago last 8/2019. I asked for an exchange before the yr was up since it had a 1yr warranty but no response. I realized it was not holding a charge and was getting over heated when charging. Only after I gave bad review did I hear from them. They assured me it was not the battery but the charger and sold me a charger for 1/2 off. Aug/2020 I purchased a backup battery because the insecurity I had with the first purchase. After receiving the new one I realized the difference between the 2 and emailed again stating I had no issues with the old charger on new battery and performance was a huge difference from the first one I had received. I would keep the backup but wanted them to exchange the 1st one as previously requested. They had been slow in filling the first order and the owner said if he had to he would send me a loaner until mine could be shipped. He denies that it was a used battery sent to me. I was thrilled with my Superfly Electric Bike but I shouldn't have to feel insecure about the quality of the battery I was sent and it made me reluctant to ride further than a couple of miles. A huge investment to have to purchase a backup for another $600.00 on top of a new charger and original price of $2600.00. Below is picture of the old and the new battery. You tell me if they both look new!

This is a terrible service department. They don’t return calls and don’t answer the phone. Terrible warranty guarantees and does not back up the product. Very bad experience , stay clear!
