I travel all over the country with my bike, and I have found many great shops. I'm so happy to have a great shop like this for my home base! Reasonably priced, thorough without being pushy, very busy but still quite a reasonable turnaround time. Everything you could want from a local bike shop. To top it off, it's a family-owned local business, which is always a plus.
Went in for minor repair. Lovely neighborhood shop, helped by third generation of family ownership. The way every bicycle shop should be!

Bought 2 new bikes several years ago, and was absolutely pleased with their service. Lately, that has not been so as folks other than the owner are doing service work. Latest negative example: brought my bike to have brakes adjusted, never bothered to actually verify the repair until - I nearly hit a car for failure of the brakes. Looking at the brakes I could see that NOTHING was done. Will bring our bikes elsewhere for repairs.
I walked into Ten Speed a hesitant, nervous potential bike owner. I walked out happily looking forward to a new bike! The bike arrived, as promised, and it is a JOY to ride. I gratefully appreciate the kindness and expertise of this LOCAL bike shop.
