Pre-ordered 2 subs online, one was ready on time the other was 15 minutes late. Staff is friendly and food was good, just not punctual.
At first I was excited about a Publix in town, but the truth is I rarely shop there anymore. It's competing with the other high-end supermarket in town, Harris Teeter. It's prices are often unacceptably high. An item that I can get at Walmart may cost 50% more. They may have good economic reasons for their mark-ups, but I see no reason to pay more than I have to.
This store is spacious, clean, and bright, with good variety and well stocked shelves. I am a repeat customer for online order sub sandwiches and the team knocks it out if the park every time! The fruit bowls are fresh and delicious, wings are excellent, and the Greenwise organic beef steaks are worth it. Staff is always helpful and courteous. Pleased to patronize Publix.
My girlfriends and I decided to take a ride to this Publix because we didn’t have one our area ( we live in the Portsmouth and Chesapeake area) and we were looking for red rock soda and Publix is the only store that sells it and it was a good short trip. When we got there we were amazed, it was clean and organized. We went straight to the straight to cheese section because I was looking for hoop cheese and you had it!; and so many more. We found the red rock soda. I wish they had a Publix in our area we probably could have stayed 45 minutes in there but we had to go Uncle Dave to get popcorn ud83dude0a and get the tidewater area, keep up the good work and hopefully we will be back mask and all.
This place is wonderful. All staff is so warm and friendly!! Harris Teeter has some competition!!
