My mom and I stayed here for a girls weekend getaway. We loved it! It was sparkling clean and in a very quaint, but convenient area. We went to a few wineries along 151 and it was a 5 minute drive. And the breakfast - oh my god! So delicious. Corrine was also kind enough to accommodate brining an earlier breakfast to us one morning as we had a reservation to go horseback riding at 9 am. We loved our time here and hope to come back!
My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway in July at Ridgeside. We stayed in the Chestnut Suite. It was very spacious and the bathroom was amazing! Corinne and Josh were incredible hosts and provided a safe environment with serving breakfast on a tray outside our room. It was pretty hot that weekend, so when she texted our breakfast was served, we brought it inside our room to enjoy there. We enjoyed walking around the grounds of the property, the local wineries, and some hiking in Shenandoah National Park. It was a quiet and relaxing weekend. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would love to go back!
My wife and I recently stayed there this past weekend. All that comes to mind is “the difference between good and great is in the details”nnBetween Corinne’s absolutely amazing hospitality and the wonderful work both her and Josh have put into the place it is an absolute guarantee you will have an amazing stay. From the beautiful, comfortable, and quiet rooms to the beautiful scenery I cannot recommend staying here enough. The food was also a big plus! You can tell care and craftsmanship is put into every detail of this place. My wife and I will absolutely be staying here again when we’re next in the area and I cannot recommend it enough!
Really enjoyed our stay here! Josh & Corinne are wonderful and care about the guests and the details. The room is clean & modern and the breakfast & homemade chocolate chip cookies each day make waking up worth it! If you are planning a trip to the Afton, VA area, stay here. Totally worth it!
We stayed for 2 nights. Owners were super nice and very accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful! Breakfast was made with eggs from their chickens and produce from their garden. Beautiful location with great views of the mountains and plenty of places around the property to just relax outside and enjoy your time. Its a good distance off the road, so it is nice and quite too. Highly recommend.
