Sleep Inn Richmond North

Loved this hotel! It was very clean. It was also very quiet. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to all kinds of shopping and restaurants.

This was our first time staying at a Sleep Inn, I was very pleased when we checked in. The front desk staff was extremely professional and polite, they called before we arrive concerning one of our room requests, and made sure we were happy when we arrived. Because of COVID I make sure to wipe down the door handles, tables, remotes etc. I was extremely please to see how clean the room was. Their housekeeping staff is very proficient. The best word I can use to describe the room comfort! The beds were extremely comfortable and the decor was extremely relaxing as well. It made ending a long day peaceful. The only slight negative is that the wifi was a bit slow, but still overall I have to say I would DEFINITELY stay here again if I am in the area.

Since 2014, I have paid a small fortune into this hotel staying here, because I never had any issues or if I did, it was minor and easily fixed. Last few times I stayed, there was hair on the sink and in the sheets which is disgusting (especially during COVID) but that is not the reason for my review.nnWhen I checked it, it was like 8am because my flight got canceled so I had to pay an early check in fee, okay fine. Got in the room, I just wanted to sleep. Window was open so it was freezing in there. I asked for another room because after about 20 mins it wasn't warming up, she told me to wait it out and I was annoyed because I thought it was broken (but that was on me because as I said I needed sleep) room warmed up, it was clean this time, everything was going well. I ended up falling asleep again at like 9ish and woke up with big red itchy welts on my arm. I looked around but didn't see anything so I went downstairs, the guy was nice he changed my room immediately and said that the manager would be in contact with me. I took pictures of my arm and everything ready to show the manager, but as I was checking out, no one was at the desk and I had a flight to catch so I couldn't wait long.nnA WEEK LATER... the manager contacts me and says that if I go to the doctor, and the doctor says I was bitten from their linen, I could have my money back. Needless to say, it's been a week and my bites are fairly healed and I don't have any more of them so it's obviously not from my house.. I am disappointed as I loved this hotel, but I don't think there is no coming back from that.

Courteous staff. Very neat and clean.

Its honestly nice, beds are comfortable,there's a microwave an a mini fridge. Only thing is the wifi is weird to connect to
