Best Western Plus Glen Allen Inn

After My fiancé leaving a review, and the owner commenting. They still charged me $100.31 for canceling the room, even though the cancellation fee was $87, which we should not have even had to pay. I have written the hotel directly through Booking.com App on multiple occasions, and they refuse to respond. I have sent Corporate an email and still have not received a response. I ended up paying for another hotel which was more expensive on top of the cancellation fee that was more than the cost of a nightly stay at this hotel. Asked if we could check in early, as a courtesy. Was told by the manager no, I would have told you that if you called. My pregnant stepdaughter ask if the room could be changed to a double instead and the guy(overnight staff) laughed and said, HA! Did you hear that? This girl wants to know if she can have a double! He even boasted that third party sites don't like calling because they don't want to deal with him. Nothing to be proud of... This was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. If you do not like dealing with the public, find another line of work. Now fighting to have cancellation fees waved. NO TRACTOR TRAILER OR RV PARKING HERE. They empty lot in front of hotel but don't know you can park there. Room was adequate with the basic amenities. No breakfast cause of Covid-19 but Waffle House within walking distance and menu for deliveries are available.

Pubes in the restroom and stuck in the towels. MOLD in the bathroom that’s been painted over. The bed is so hard and lumpy I tossed and turned. Front desk clerk was short on conversation and not helpful. It was a cheaper stay but not clean enough to be worth it.

Just in case that you are under the weather and you DO NOT want to risk anyone and be nice. This hotel will not refund the money nor will give credit. Such a lovely service during the pandemic. Be aware!!!!!

Staff was pleasant. Pet friendly. Conviently located right off I95. Room was very big with kitchen. Immaculate. Would definitely recommend
