This is a beautiful destination to have either a wedding or an event. I have been hearing numerous times over the years and every time it feels like I am on a plantation in heaven. The house itself is absolutely amazing in the pond out back with the swans is very peaceful. I cannot recommend the Virginia cliff inn highly enough. Janice, who is the owner/operator of the Inn, is honestly probably the nicest person you will ever meet.

The Virginia Cliffe Inn is an outstanding place to stay in the Richmond area. The staff is very accommodating, and the overall experience was worth every penny! I highly recommend!
It was fantastic!! We didn't want to leave! The accommodations were second to none! Not even the best hotels we stayed in could match this PHENOMENAL experience we had! Our dinner was better than any restaurant that steak melted in our mouths! The breakfast was a smorgasbord of delicious choices!! Everyone should go!! It was decorated so beautifully! Mark the care taker and cook was delightful and AMAZING!! PLEASE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE THIS BEAUTIFUL AIRB&B!!!
While visiting our daughter in Richmond my wife and I spent a night at the Virginia Cliff Inn. We wanted to try something other than a corporate stuffy hotel room. Boy, did we hit it out of the park. This Inn is beautiful and well attended / maintained. Everything was perfect. The Inn had a long history, and was very personalized from the folks that lived there. The grounds were beautiful, and the Inn was quiet. Mark was very helpful and exhibited the finest in southern hospitality. The breakfast was simply stunning. Everything you could think of was on the table. We enjoyed our conversation with Mark. I highly, highly recommend this Inn for anyone visiting Richmond. It also looked like a great place for a wedding. Thanks again Mark for a very nice stay, and a much needed break from the routine. Denny / Janet McCullough
