I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! We stayed in the Boathouse cabin for a weekend with our two dogs. The property is so perfect for relaxing and going on quiet walks with the dogs. It’s very clean and there is plenty of room to spread out away from other people. The cabin was amazing! It was super clean and the amount of detail put into decor makes it even better. We used the fire pit and the fireplace and it made the experience so lovely. We got ENGAGED on the adorable bridge, just the two of us and our pups. The representative that we spoke with on the phone and the caretaker are so friendly and helpful! We love to do weekend trips in different places, but this was the best experience so far.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! Perfect for getting away and relaxing and making great memories! The grounds are immaculate and the accommodations are superb in every detail! We will definitely be going back!

Four Fillies, located on Rich Creek which is a tributary to New River, is a unique place to spend a weekend or a week. No better place to relax than sitting by Rich Creek that peacefully flows through the property. Go for a long hike nearby to Hanging Rock Observatory on part of the Appalachian Trail and Allegheny Trail or hike on the property trails through the woods. Often spotted are whitetail deer, wild turkeys, minks running in and out of the rocks, a great blue heron catching a trout from the stream, raccoons, ground hogs, and a variety of birds. Eat your meals inside your cabin, or have a picnic while listening to the water babbling over the creek rocks, cook the fish you catch and make s’mores in the evening at the fire pit, or go a few blocks to a friendly, informal Hometown Restaurant serving home cooked meals. After we spent many days at the property, I assure you that there is no other place like Four Fillies. Before you leave, you will be planning a return trip.
