Courtyard by Marriott Fairfax Fair Oaks

Reasonable Courtyard with a little room for improvement. Location is great just a little tough from one side of the road having to u turn to get to it. Grocery store next door is good to grab a bite to eat or a few restaurants across the road.nnPlenty of free parking. Check in was quick. No mobile key. Lobby and other areas were quiet.nnUpgraded room due to Marriott status was great. Large 1 bedroom suite. Mini refrigerator was clean. 2 TVs. Everything seemed clean. Internet was fast.nnOnly complaint is the outdated TV system. No smart functionality or even TV guide on screen, just the old school change channels and see what's on. It's fine for one night but any longer and that would drive me crazy.

I have stayed here for the last couple months and this place provides a clean, peaceful stay. The General manager Glen is a wonderful leader of a team of good customer service employees. Amy is magnificent! She is always so pleasant and polite when I have dealt with her. I recommend this place hands down!!! Clean and peaceful.nMs. Preer

Very well priced and located. While an older building they worked to make it feel fresh. They accommodated me with an early check-in and a smile. Balconies are nice bonus, just wish TV's weren't so dated compared to other Marriott properties.

Most staff were nice and helpful with one exception. Hotel is outdated and reminiscent of a motel 8. Rooms were clean but toiletries unstocked and water pressure very low. No microwave and coffeemaker belongs in the trashcan.nnI expect a little more from the Marriott hotels, like maybe a complimentary breakfast, especially at the price point of other nearby hotel options. Disappointed, would not recommend.

Pick up rental! Lobby n bathrooms are clean. Probably a good place to stay.
